About business plans and preferential treatment such as business start-up support based on the Industrial Competitiveness Enhancement Act

Updated: September 4, 2024

Inagi City Business Startup Support Business Plan

In order to strengthen its support for new businesses and promote business startups within the city, the city has formulated the Inagi City Startup Support Business Plan in collaboration with Sawayaka Shinkin Bank, which has signed a comprehensive agreement with the city to support small and medium-sized enterprises, Mizuho Bank of the Mizuho Financial Group, and the Inagi Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The plan received national certification on December 26, 2018.
Through this plan, we will further strengthen our collaborative relationship with Sawayaka Shinkin Bank, Mizuho Bank, Kiraboshi Bank, and Inagi Chamber of Commerce and Industry regarding startup support, with the goal of starting 34 new businesses per year.

What is the business plan for business start-up support based on the Industrial Competitiveness Enhancement Act?

The Industrial Competitiveness Enhancement Act, which went into effect on January 20, 2014, aims to promote business start-ups in the region by collaborating with private start-up support businesses (regional financial institutions, NPOs, chambers of commerce, associations of commerce, etc.). In collaboration, cities, wards, towns and villages will formulate a ``Start-up Support Business Plan'' to provide support for starting a business, and the plan will be certified by the national government.
The Revised Industrial Competitiveness Enhancement Act, which came into effect on July 9, 2018, changed the name of the plan to the "Start-up Support Business Plan," and introduced a project to raise awareness about starting a business with the aim of further increasing the business startup rate. Business Start-up Momentum Cultivation Project) has become a new target.
