When the sports facilities cannot be used due to rain, etc.

Previously, if we were unable to use the sports facilities due to rain or if we had to postpone use on a day when the heat index exceeded 31, we would reschedule your reservation. However, from February 2025, we will change this to a refund system.
In addition, the rules will change with the start of refunds. Please note that you must declare your claim in order to receive a refund. The new rules will go into effect on February 1, 2025.
We will update this page with information on how to apply for a refund.
(Note) If you do not use the facility for personal reasons, it will not be eligible.

1. If the facility cannot be used due to rain or other reasons, a notice of unavailability must be submitted using the facility's designated method (required).
2. An administrator will review your application and notify you of whether it is approved or not.
3. Once approved, submit your refund request

• Sports facilities in the park (general ground, Central Park baseball field, Wakabadai Park, tennis courts)

• Please note that you must declare within the designated time that you were unable to use the facility due to rain, etc. If you do not declare this, we will not be able to refund your payment .

• Please note that even if a report is made, refunds will not be given if it is not confirmed that it is raining.
• Please note that if you do not report within the designated time, it will be considered as having been used and no refunds will be given.
• In addition to the above, refunds may be made when approved by the administrator.

• Please note that you must notify us within the designated time that you will be refraining from using the facility due to heat stroke . If you do not notify us, we will not be able to refund your payment .

• Refunds are only available on days when the heat index (WBGT) at the observation point in Hachioji or Fuchu is 31 or higher. Refunds will be given if the heat index exceeds 31 within 30 minutes of the start of use, or if it is expected to exceed 31 one hour prior.
• Please note that if you do not report within the designated time, it will be considered as having been used and no refunds will be given.

• Please declare your use by 23:59 on the day following your use date using the online declaration form.
• If you do not report by 23:59 the following day, it will be considered as having been used. In that case, please note that we will not be able to refund you.
• The online declaration form will be available on February 1st.

• Please call the General Gymnasium between one hour before and 30 minutes after your planned start time . (We will not accept requests the day before as we are unable to check the actual heat index.)
• If you are making a reservation before the gymnasium opens, please contact us after 9am on the day.
• If the gymnasium is closed, please contact us on the next business day.
• When you contact us, we will let you know whether you are eligible for a refund.
