Measures based on intersection re-inspection have been completed

Since serious traffic accidents have occurred at intersections with pedestrian crossings in other prefectures, from May 11 to May 24, 2019, from the perspective of ensuring pedestrian safety, We carried out urgent reinspection of this main intersection by the staff.
Regarding the intersections on city roads that were judged to require consideration of countermeasures in this reinspection, measures such as installing guard pipes will be implemented sequentially, starting with the intersections with the highest priority. It was installed at 28 intersections and completed.
We will continue to take various measures to prevent traffic accidents from occurring.
