Inagi City Social Contribution Activity Promotion Subsidy System
Overview of the System
This subsidy aims to enhance the foundation of organizations engaged in social contributions that serve as a platform for volunteer activities within Inagi City, by subsidizing a portion of the project costs for the launch of new projects and the step-up (expansion) of existing projects, while also encouraging citizen participation in volunteer activities and promoting social contribution activities.
This is a system that provides subsidies of up to 50,000 yen to organizations that have a base of operations and contact location within Inagi City and are continuously engaged in social contribution activities.
Eligible Organizations
Organizations eligible for grant funding are those that meet all of the following conditions.
- Continuous engagement in specified non-profit activities as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on Promotion of Specified Non-Profit Activities (Law No. 7 of 1998) (activities aimed at contributing to the enhancement of the welfare of unspecified and numerous individuals, including the promotion of health, medical care, welfare, Social Education, Community Development, tourism, academia, culture, arts, sports, environmental conservation, healthy development of children, advancement of an information society, promotion of science and technology, revitalization of economic activities, disaster relief activities, and community safety activities).
- The activities of the organization are in accordance with the guidelines for Collaboration in Community Development established by Inagi City.
- Having a base of operations and a contact location within Inagi City, and conducting activities within Inagi City.
- It is an organization that is not for the purpose of politics, religion, or profit.
- More than half of the members of a group consisting of five or more people must be residents of Inagi City.
Eligible Projects
The projects eligible for subsidy must meet all the conditions listed below. However, the subsidy for the same project can be granted a maximum of two consecutive times.
- It is a new project or an existing project being implemented based on new ideas to solve local issues.
- The implemented projects contribute to the improvement of citizens' lives.
- This is a project that promotes the discovery of volunteers in the implementation of the project.
- The project must be completed within the fiscal year of the subsidy application.
- It is a project that is planned to be continuously implemented even after the grant is provided.
- This is a project that does not receive any subsidies other than this grant from Inagi City.
Flow of Grant Disbursement
The process until the grant is provided is generally as follows. Specific timings for recruitment and other details will be announced on the Inagi City Website and through public relations.
- Recruitment period from April to around June
- Around July, examination and grant decision (There may be a request for an explanation of the project details during the examination.)
- Performance Report Around March
Application Period
From April 1, 2024 (Monday) to June 30, 2024 (Sunday)
About Grant Applications
This subsidy is a project entrusted by the city to the "Specified Nonprofit Corporation Inagi Citizen Activity Support Center," which is the designated manager of the Community Promotion Plaza. The review of applications will be conducted by the Inagi City Social Contribution Activity Promotion Subsidy Review Committee, composed of representatives from citizen groups and experts.
