Information on the 20th Birthday Ceremony (formerly known as Coming of Age Ceremony) in 2025

The 20-year-old ceremony to celebrate the start of a 20-year-old will be held in two parts: a morning session and an afternoon session.

Please allow plenty of time to arrive as there will be a screening of a memorable video and a Japanese drum performance before the start of both the morning and afternoon sessions.
If you have graduated from a school other than a public junior high school in the city, please join the club of your choice.
After the ceremony, enjoy the attractions and jewel illumination at Yomiuriland.

Note: Times may change or be canceled due to inclement weather, etc.

City residents born between April 2, 2004 and April 1, 2005

Invitation

Eligible individuals who are registered residents of Inagi City will receive an invitation in mid-December.
If you are an eligible person living outside Inagi City and would like to participate, please check the following page.

By presenting the invitation, admission to Yomiuriland and the round-trip gondola ride will be free for you only, so be sure to bring it with you.
If you require special consideration, such as an escort, please contact the Lifelong Learning Division in advance.

Yomiuri Land parking lot (charged) is limited. Additionally, there is no pick-up/drop-off space for private cars, so please use public transportation or the gondola.
Please note that the gondola may be suspended depending on the weather.
