Inagi City School Commuting Area
Updated: September 26, 2024
The city has a designated school system that determines which schools students attend depending on their place of residence.
In addition, regarding the procedure for changing designated schools when there are special circumstances, the standards have been revised from April 2024.
For details, please see the "Inagi City Designated School Change Approval Criteria" below.
If you have any questions, please contact the Academic Affairs Section of the Academic Affairs Division.

This school commuting area map was created by combining the "Inagi Guide Map" (created in September 2007) and the "Minamiyama Eastern Land Readjustment Project Blueprint" (created in February 2012) and adding lines freehand. This is what I did. When checking your school zone, please use it in conjunction with the "School zone table" posted below.
Please feel free to contact us for further details.

Due to branch number relationships, etc., there may be multiple designated schools displayed for the same address. When checking the school district, please use the "School District Map" posted above.
Please note that due to discrepancies between residential addresses and land numbers, or the assignment of new residential address numbers, some addresses may differ from the actual school district. Please be sure to contact the Academic Affairs Section of the Academic Affairs Division if you move.
Change of designated school
You can apply to change your designated school only if you meet the prerequisites and criteria for approval.
Prerequisites for approval of change of designated school
- There are no problems with the operation of the school (accommodation capacity, etc. is ensured).

Main reasons for approval of change of designated school
- Reason for moving within the city (conditions apply)
- Reason for childcare after school (elementary school students only)
- Reason for siblings attending school (conditions apply)
- physical reason
- Reasons for educational consideration (some submission deadlines apply)

In 2020, Inagi Daini Elementary School, Inagi Daisan Elementary School, Hirao Elementary School, Minamiyama Elementary School, Inagi Daiichi Junior High School, and Inagi Daisan Junior High School will open classrooms in the future if they accept students from other school districts. As it is expected that there will be a shortage in the number of students, it is not possible to change the designated school for "geographical reasons".
