Mr. Yasumitsu Sato, chairman of the Japan Shogi Association, who received the Medal with Purple Ribbon, paid a courtesy visit to the mayor!

On June 1, 2017, Mr. Yasumitsu Sato (9th Dan), president of the Japan Shogi Association who lives in Inagi City and was awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon in the Spring Medal, paid a courtesy call on the mayor.
Mr. Sato took office as the chairman of the Japan Shogi Association in February, and has been active in the shogi world, winning many title matches and shogi competitions.
He said that he lives in Inagi City because it has a lot of nature and the environment is good.
