Yasumitsu Sato, president of the Japan Shogi Federation, who received the Medal with Purple Ribbon, paid a courtesy visit to the mayor!

On June 1, 2017, Yasumitsu Sato (9th dan), Chairman of the Japan Shogi Association and resident of Inagi City, who was awarded the Purple Ribbon Medal in the spring commendation, paid a courtesy visit to the mayor.
Mr. Sato became the president of the Japan Shogi Association in February and has been devoting himself to the world of shogi. He has also been active in the world of shogi, winning numerous title matches and tournaments.
They said they chose to live in Inagi City because it has a lot of nature and a good environment.
