Regarding the occurrence of new coronavirus infection positive cases among Inagi City School staff (May 16, 2020)

Please be aware that unfair discrimination based on misunderstandings or prejudices related to the new coronavirus infection and vaccination will not be tolerated.

Status of the relevant faculty and staff member

A faculty member working at an Inagi City school was found to be positive as a result of a new coronavirus test.
At present, no symptoms such as fever have been seen in other children, students, or faculty members.
The situation regarding the concerned faculty and staff members is as follows.
(1) Age: 50s (2) Gender: Female (3) Location: Tokyo (4) Symptoms: Fever (38 degrees), cough, etc. (5) Circumstances
May 9th (Monday) Go to work.
May 10 (Tuesday) Go to work.
May 11th (Wednesday) Go to work. Fever (38.0 degrees) in the evening. Seek medical attention. An antigen test was performed and was found to be positive.
On May 12th (Thursday), I took a vacation. Seek medical attention. Conduct PCR test. turned out to be positive. Since then, he has been recuperating at home. The public health center has instructed us to stay at home until May 21 (Saturday).

- Disinfection work within the school has been carried out.
・After checking in accordance with the standards issued by the public health center, we found that there were no close contacts among students or teachers.
