Regarding the outbreak of COVID-19 among Inagi City school teachers and staff (August 4, 2022)

Please be aware that unfair discrimination based on misunderstandings or prejudices related to the new coronavirus infection and vaccination will not be tolerated.

Status of the faculty member in question (first example)

A faculty member working at an Inagi City school was found to be positive as a result of a new coronavirus test.
The situation regarding the concerned faculty and staff members is as follows.
(1) Age: 50s (2) Gender: Male (3) Location: Tokyo (4) Symptoms: Fever (39.0 degrees), malaise, etc. (5) Circumstances
July 29th (Friday) Take vacation. A family member had a fever, and a PCR test was performed at a medical institution.
July 30 (Saturday) Fever (39.0 degrees).
On August 1st (Monday), a family member tested positive. The person himself also carried out a PCR test. Diagnosed as "deemed positive" from a medical institution.
On August 2nd (Tuesday), the medical institution instructed me to rest at home until August 8th (Monday).

【correspondence】
・Disinfection work inside the school has already been carried out.
・After checking according to the standards issued by the public health center, there are no students or teachers who are considered close contacts.
・Reported to the local public health center.

Status of the relevant faculty member (second example)

A faculty member working at an Inagi City school was found to be positive as a result of a new coronavirus test.
The situation regarding the concerned faculty and staff members is as follows.
(1) Age: 30s (2) Gender: Male (3) Location: Tokyo (4) Symptoms: Fever (39.4 degrees), sore throat, etc. (5) History
July 29th (Friday) Arrive at work. Business trip in the afternoon.
On July 30th (Saturday), I had a fever (39.4 degrees) and a sore throat.
August 1st (Monday) I took a vacation. Report current symptoms to school. I have contacted several medical institutions, but I am waiting at home because the situation continues to be unacceptable.

August 3 (Wednesday) Visited a medical institution. Conduct PCR test.
On August 4th (Thursday), it turned out to be positive. The medical institution instructed me to recuperate at home until August 9 (Tuesday).
