Wandering elderly family support service

We will lend a GPS mobile device to the family of an elderly person, approximately 65 years of age or older, who exhibits significant wandering behavior. This allows us to work with the 24-hour reception center and the family to locate the person who is wandering around and prevent accidents from occurring.

Target audience

Those aged approximately 65 or older who live in the city and are known to be wandering

Usage fee

(1) Subscription fee: 2,475 yen (tax included)
(2) Accessories price 1,375 yen (tax included)
(3) Basic fee (monthly) 660 yen (tax included)

Optional services

Location information provision fees and search dispatch fees apply.

Reduction of burden amount

Households that are exempt from municipal tax, receive an old-age welfare pension, and receive public assistance are eligible for a partial reduction or exemption from the above fees.

How to apply

Please fill out and submit the application form available at the Regional Support Section of the Elderly Welfare Division.
When you apply, we will ask you about the situation of the person wandering.
