Subsidy for rubella antibody testing and vaccination costs

1. Wind ( ) Shin antibody test

Target audience

Inagi City residents aged 19 or older who fall under any of the following categories: (1) Women who are planning to become pregnant or wish to become pregnant (2) People living with a pregnant woman (3) People living with a person in category (1) Notes: Wind ( ) Vaccination for rash ( hemp ( ) core Wind ( ) Core Mixture hemp ( ) core Wind ( ) This excludes those who have received the flu vaccine (including the mumps vaccine) twice or more, or those who have had an antibody test to confirm that they do not have sufficient antibodies.

Note: Excluding those subject to additional government measures against rubella (men born between April 2, 1962 and April 1, 1979).

Inspection method

Blood test by drawing blood (In principle, the test is performed by the HI method. If the HI method cannot be performed due to unavoidable reasons, the EIA method is used.)

How to take the test

1. Make an appointment with a medical institution.
2. Fill out an application form at the medical institution (application forms can also be obtained at the Health Center).
3. The test will be performed using the HI method (or the EIA method if the HI method cannot be used for unavoidable reasons).
4. At a later date (on a date specified by the medical institution), the medical institution will inform you of the test results and explain them to you.
Test results, Wind ( ) If you do not have sufficient antibodies against jaundice (HI antibody titer of 16 or less or EIA titer of less than 8.0), you may be eligible for the vaccination cost assistance described below in “2.

2. Vaccination cost subsidy

Target audience

Inagi citizens aged 19 or older who fall under any of (1) to (3) and meet any of the <vaccination conditions> (1) Women who are planning or wish to become pregnant (2) Pregnant women living together (3) Cohabitant of (1)

<Vaccination conditions>
(a) Wind ( ) (b) When a woman who was found to have a low antibody titer during a prenatal checkup receives the vaccine promptly after giving birth. (c) Other than (a), when a person has previously taken an antibody test on their own and can prove by documents that they have a low antibody titer.

Note: Excluding those subject to additional rubella measures by the government (men born between April 2, 1962 and April 1, 1979)

Note 2: Those on welfare can receive medical treatment free of charge (fully publicly funded) by presenting a Certificate of Welfare Receipt, and those of Japanese nationals remaining in China, etc. can receive medical treatment free of charge (fully publicly funded) by presenting a Certificate of Welfare Receipt to the medical institution.

How to receive vaccination

1. Make an appointment with a medical institution.
2. Fill out an application form at a medical institution (an application form can also be handed over at the Health Center).
3. Get vaccinated

Belongings

Identification card and something that shows the results of the antibody test (documents that show the results, maternal and child health handbook, etc.)
Note: If you are receiving public assistance, please submit a protection receipt certificate, and if you are a Japanese remaining in China, please submit a support benefit receipt certificate to the medical institution.

Notes

  • Pregnant women cannot be vaccinated.
  • Pregnancy should be avoided for 2 months after vaccination.

Until March 31, 2025 (excluding holidays)
Note: It will take some time for antibody test results to become available.
The acceptance period varies depending on each medical institution, so if you wish to make an appointment, please make an appointment as early as possible.
