Every June is “Shokuiku Month” and the 19th of every month is “Shokuiku Day”

Update date: November 4, 2020

Shokuiku is about nurturing people who can acquire knowledge about food and the ability to make food choices, and practice healthy eating habits, so that we can develop healthy and rich humanity throughout our lives.
In order to promote dietary education, the national and local governments, related organizations, and other organizations cooperate to implement a campaign to promote dietary education under the Basic Plan for Dietary Education. June of each year is designated as "Shokuiku Month" and the 19th of each month is designated as "Shokuiku Day." Take these opportunities as an opportunity to sit around the table with your family and think about food.
