How to play safely with playground equipment

About "Risk" and "Hazard"

Playground equipment is an important tool that provides play for children. Play involves a certain amount of danger, and challenging this danger leads to enjoyment, and the ability to avoid danger and the ability to foresee danger is cultivated. The dangers associated with the enjoyment of play are called "risks." Risks can be avoided by allowing children to play while being properly supervised by parents and others.

On the other hand, dangers that must not be unrelated to the enjoyment of play are called "hazards." Hazards include those related to things, that is, the playground equipment itself, and those related to people, that is, users. All hazards must be removed before an accident occurs.
