What is the sewer usage fee?
It covers the cost of treating sewage discharged from your home or business at a final treatment plant, the cost of cleaning facilities such as sewage pipes, and other maintenance and management costs. You will have to pay for it.
Report of "notification form such as public sewer use start"
Once the construction of the drainage system has started at your home, you will need to submit a notification of the start of use.
The designated sewerage construction shop will handle this notification on your behalf, so please check the contents, sign your name, affix your seal, and hand it over to the construction shop.
Note: Please submit the same document even if you do not use the sewage system temporarily due to reconstruction work, etc. If you do not notify us, you will be charged a sewage usage fee according to the amount of water used, even if you do not use the sewage system.

Usage fee payment
The sewer usage fee must be paid together with the water bill for two months.
Payment methods include account transfer, payment notice, credit card, and smartphone payment. Regarding account transfers, we have started a new "Web account transfer reception service". As you can easily perform application procedure of fund transfer using the Internet, please use by all means. Calculation of usage fee
The fee for use is calculated based on the amount of sewage that you drain.
Note: Water usage counts as sewage volume.
Usage fee will be exempted
In the following cases, a part of the usage fee (basic usage fee) is exempted by application.
(1) Persons receiving livelihood assistance (2) Persons receiving Child Rearing Allowance or Special Child Rearing Allowance A person who belongs to a household whose members fall under any of the following
- Those who have received a certificate of the physically disabled and whose degree is 1st or 2nd grade
- Those who have received a love notebook, and the degree is 1 or 2
- Those who have received a Mental Disability Health and Welfare Handbook and whose level is Level 1
Notify when you move
Please notify the Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Waterworks Customer Center if there are any changes such as suspending, discontinuing or restarting the use of the sewerage system, or changing the name due to moving etc.
