Regarding treatment of motorcycles (including mopeds)
Update date: January 5, 2015
The "Motorcycle Recycling System" is a system that reduces waste and effectively utilizes resources through the collection, proper processing, and recycling of discarded motorcycles by delivering motorcycles that are no longer being ridden to discarded motorcycle dealers or designated collection locations. .
As of October 2011, the system has been partially changed, and all motorcycles manufactured or imported by participating businesses and sold in Japan no longer require recycling fees when disposed of . (If you bring it to a ``disposal motorcycle dealer'', a separate transportation fee will be charged.)
For details about this system, such as the dealers and collection offices that will take discarded motorcycles and the fees that you will need to pay, please contact the call center or website listed below.
