A ceremony was held to celebrate the completion of the four-lane Koremasa Bridge, the opening of Shinfuchu Kaido, the elevated JR Nambu Line, and the completion of Minamitama Station Square.

The ceremony included the unveiling of the Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower and the Yatter One Monument, a talk event with mechanical designer Kunio Okawara and voice actor Koichi Yamadera, and other events by local residents.

Images Greetings from the Mayor

Over 1,000 people gathered on the day to celebrate the opening of the town.
In the Mayor's greeting at the beginning, he talked about "elevating the Nambu Line" and "trying to solve regional issues in terms of urban development."

Mr. Kitaguchi, chairman of the Daimaru Neighborhood Association, who co-hosted the opening ceremony in front of Minami-Tama Station with Inagi City, said, ``Minami-Tama Station will be more convenient and everyone in the area will be able to live with peace of mind.''

Afterwards, we received greetings from the Chairman of the Inagi City Council, local elected members of the Diet, and members of the Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly.

We sent letters of appreciation to the donors of the monument, one of the highlights of the ceremony.
The Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower, which was installed at the north exit rotary of Minamitama Station, is from Soroptimist International Inagi (right in the photo).
The "Yatter One Monument" installed on the adjacent park site was donated by Nihon Filcon Co., Ltd. (left photo).
