Held at the same time! Tama River Basin Local Performing Arts Festival and Tama River Basin Products Exhibition

The 23rd Tama River Basin Folk Performing Arts Festival brings together local performing arts from the Tama River basin!

In order to revitalize local performing arts and promote local culture through the exchange of local culture in the Tama River basin, we are holding the Tama River Basin Folk Performing Arts Festival , in which eight groups will present folk performing arts that have been nurtured in the Tama River basin.
This is a rare performance that brings together local performing arts from the Tama River basin, which are usually hard to experience.

After the local performing arts, there will be a rock-paper-scissors competition where you can win special products.

The 8th Tama River Basin Products Exhibition will also be held at the same time!

At the same time, a Tama River Basin product exhibition will be held by the nine municipalities participating in the Tama River Basin Folk Performing Arts Festival.

We will be selling local specialties from the Tama River basin.

  • Tanbayama Village (Yamanashi Prefecture): Log-grown Maitake mushroom stock, Tabagame deer curry, miso dressing, etc.
  • Kosuge Village (Yamanashi Prefecture): Salt-grilled yamame trout (charcoal), grilled whole makomotake mushrooms (charcoal), tornado potatoes
  • Okutama Town (Tokyo): Specialties of Okutama Town, Okutama curry, yuzu pepper, etc.
  • Hino City (Tokyo): Hino vegetables and famous sweets
  • Tama City (Tokyo): Handmade, freshly fried curry bread, Rascal cookies, Work Center Rest handmade sweets, etc.
