About sirens sounding in the event of a fire

Update date: December 11, 2015

If a fire breaks out in Inagi City, day or night, the first member of the fire department to arrive at the station may sound the station's motor siren. This is to quickly gather nearby group members and dispatch them to the scene of a fire.
In addition, in the event of a spreading fire, torrential rain, or a large-scale disaster, sirens are blared and publicity is provided over the disaster prevention administrative radio system.
We ask for the continued understanding and cooperation of all citizens.
