We carried out 2021 firefighting team friendship city exchange business

Updated: November 4, 2022

Exchange visit to Nozawa Onsen Village

From July 16th to July 17th, 2020, seven people under the fire brigade leader visited Nozawaonsen village as a fire brigade friendship town exchange project.
As a friendship city, we were able to deepen mutual understanding through lively exchanges of opinions on the current situation of the fire brigade with eight people including the Nozawa Onsen village fire brigade leader.
On the first day, we were able to see the site of the Chikuma River, which was destroyed by the 2019 East Japan Typhoon, and hear about the experiences of the victims.
On the second day, we visited Nozawa Onsen Michi-no-Eki, which is designated as a designated emergency evacuation area.
