Activities of the fire brigade

Updated: March 12, 2014

In Inagi, where we live, disasters tend to become more complex and large-scale due to changes in the living environment in recent years. Under these circumstances, the activities of the fire brigade, which together with the fire department are the closest disaster prevention organizations to local communities, are becoming increasingly important.
While working, firefighters carry out a wide range of activities as local disaster prevention leaders, with a sense of mission to "protect our community from disasters." In particular, as a community-based fire department, strengthening local disaster prevention capabilities, including interaction with local residents, is essential to creating a city that is resilient to disasters.
