119 call integrated location information notification system
Updated: June 25, 2015
The Inagi Fire Department began operating the "119 call integrated location information notification system" on January 14, 2015. When you call 119 from a mobile phone, landline phone, IP phone, etc., information such as the location of the call (location information) is notified to the fire department's communication control room at the same time as the caller's voice call. This has made it possible to more reliably confirm the information necessary for dispatching the fire brigade. (Previously, location information could only be displayed when calling 119 from a mobile phone, IP phone, etc.)
Reports from mobile phones, where addresses are often unclear, are expected to be effective, but errors may occur due to the accuracy of location information, so when reporting, please continue to verbally state the address and target. please.
