Started operation of small unmanned aerial vehicles (drone)

Updated: August 1, 2017

In order to respond to complex and diversified disasters in recent years, we have introduced small unmanned aerial vehicles (drones). It aims at quick and effective firefighting activities by acquiring images from the sky of the disaster site.
Drones are used by firefighters who have been trained to operate drones at disaster sites under operational rules during disasters such as fires, floods, and earthquakes.

Case Study

  • Confirmation of fire spread direction and range
  • Searching for rescuers at water disaster sites
  • Confirmation of sediment conditions and dangerous areas associated with sediment disasters, etc.
