About crime prevention activities in 2021

The Council for the Promotion of Safe and Secure Town Development has set the following goals for 2021: "Under 300 cases of recognized criminal offenses", "Priority on vigilance against bicycle theft", and "Zero special fraud damage". I have been active.
In 2021, the number of city penal code offenses was 236 (304 in the previous year), which unfortunately did not reach the “under 300”, but we were able to continue to maintain a downward trend. The number of theft cases was 205 (247 in the previous year), a decrease of 22.4% from the previous year, and we were able to achieve our target.
Regarding special fraud, 9 cases resulted in damage of approximately 76 million yen (7 cases in the previous year, approximately 143.8 million yen), and the number is on the rise. We now have.

Patrol activities by crime prevention registered groups
We provide security goods in the city!
Patrol activities by crime prevention groups registered with the city are carried out every day and night.
A total of 791 times were held during the third year of Reiwa, with a total of 100,411 participants.

Personal Volunteer Registration for Crime Prevention Activities
Crime prevention activity individual volunteer registration system is started from November, 2016, and crime prevention activity is carried out every day.

Security patrol car patrol
Crime prevention activities are carried out every day by a security patrol car with a blue rotating light.

Sponsored by the "Inagi City Safe and Secure Community Development Promotion Council", every year on the third Wednesday of July and December, "Simultaneous City Crime Prevention Patrol" is carried out by crime prevention groups at seven locations in the city. I'm here.
