I am returning to my hometown to give birth. Which hospital can I go to for prenatal checkups?

Last updated: April 1, 2023

You can receive prenatal checkups using the prenatal checkup card at most medical institutions at obstetrics and gynecology departments in Tokyo.
For medical institutions and midwives outside of Tokyo, please receive a prenatal checkup and apply for a "pregnant health checkup subsidy for returning home, etc." after giving birth. For details, please refer to the leaflet enclosed in the health bag for mothers and children, or check the subsidy for medical checkups for pregnant women such as home visits and newborn hearing examinations on the page .
