Please tell me about the difference between a licensed nursery school and a certified nursery school.

Updated: December 3, 2014

The difference is whether or not the nursery school meets the standards of a nationally licensed nursery school.
Childcare facilities are divided into licensed and unlicensed facilities, but certified nursery schools are included in unlicensed childcare facilities.
A licensed nursery school is a facility that meets the standards of a licensed nursery school, such as room size, capacity, and number of nursery teachers. A certified nursery school is a nursery school established independently by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government in accordance with a licensed nursery school, and is also subsidized by Inagi City.
About application, we perform child care support section about authorization nursery school, but certification nursery school becomes application in each facility.
