QuestionI don't want to undergo a mammogram for breast cancer screening because it is painful. What should I do?

Response

Breast cancer can be cured if detected and treated early!
After the age of 40, please have regular breast cancer screenings every two years.

There are many cases of breast cancer that cannot be detected through self-examination. If you think it's okay to go to the hospital only after you notice symptoms, you might miss the "early cancer" stage.

Breast cancer screening includes a questionnaire and mammography (breast X-ray imaging).

Mammography is such an examination

Mammography, also known as breast X-ray, is an excellent imaging examination that can detect lumps as small as 1 cm.
It involves placing the breast between plastic plates and taking X-rays from above.
It is recommended to avoid scheduling during times of breast tenderness.
