My Town Inagi 2019 Inagi Dai 6 Junior High School Track and Field Women's Relay Team

Going to the national competition with team power
Ms. Riko Yamagoshi, a third-year student at Inagi No. 6 Junior High School, participated in the women's 100m and 200m at the 45th All Japan Junior High School Athletics Championships held in August last year.
There are various events in track and field, but at Inagi No. 6 Junior High School, we are focusing on relay competition and practicing repeatedly. We have a track record of participating in competition championships.
When I asked Mr. Takano, the track and field club adviser, how the practice was going, he said, "I've been running hard on a daily basis. I've overcome the tough menu before the competition, and I've grown a lot as an individual and as a team."
In competitions in which teams participate, they call out to each other before the game. We write messages on the knees of the contestants, and we start by uniting everyone's thoughts.
When Mr. Yamakoshi participated in the national tournament as an individual, all of his teammates sent messages to each other and cheered him on together.
The third-year athletes retired in the summer ahead of high school entrance exams, but they still have the same feelings for track and field and their friends.
From the serious expressions on their faces during the race, and from their bright smiles during the interview, I could tell that their junior high school life was very fulfilling.
Finally, when I asked them about the appeal of track and field, they all said in unison, "A sense of accomplishment!"
