My Town Inagi 2019 Mr. Takashi Kurisu

Updated: January 15, 2019

businessman road racer

In September 2018, the UCI (Union Cycliste Internationale) Grand Fondo Championship Tournament was held in Italy, and Mr. Takashi Kurisu, a businessman road racer living in Yanoguchi (Pacific Consultants Co., Ltd.) participated and completed the race. .
This is Kurisu's second participation after the 2017 tournament.
Due to transportation problems, the arrival at the competition venue was significantly delayed, so we had to challenge the race in a difficult situation where we could not rest and replenish our energy.
However, he was able to take advantage of his experience from the previous race, and was able to calmly face the race by investigating dangerous spots on the course in advance.
Despite being overwhelmed by the high degree of difficulty of the course, such as authentic Italian cobblestones and narrow streets, he finished the race in 193rd place out of 255 runners.
Looking back on the tournament, she said with a smile, “It was a very valuable experience.

Mr. Kurisu usually works as a company employee and considers transportation plans, but he also participates in numerous competitions as a professional road racer.
Despite the limited time he has, he commutes by bicycle on weekdays and runs intensively on Saturdays and Sundays, running 1,000 to 1,500 kilometers a month.
On his days off, he and his wife take a leisurely ride around town on their bicycles to refresh themselves.
Let's continue to support Mr. Kurisu, who is active in the world as a professional road racer while balancing work.
