Roadside excavation implementation consultation

Last updated: November 11, 2020

Areas adjacent to roads managed by Inagi City are designated as roadside areas. When excavating more than 50 centimeters in the roadside area, Inagi City can request prior excavation enforcement consultation for the purpose of road maintenance.
The designated roadside area is determined by the width of the road in front of the site to be excavated.
Roadside Excavation Enforcement Consultation usually takes about 10 days for document review and site confirmation, so if Inagi City requests consultation, please submit the roadside excavation enforcement agreement 10 days before the start of construction.

Scope of Submission of Roadside Excavation Enforcement Agreement

If the excavation range falls under any of the following, it will be the scope of submission of the roadside excavation enforcement agreement.
1. When excavating a designated roadside area of 50 centimeters or more and excavating deeper than the distance between the excavation location and the road boundary.
2. When the road administrator deems that there is a risk of affecting the road
3. When changing the existing ground by filling, cutting, etc.
4. When the road administrator deems it necessary

3. If the front road width is 20 meters or more, 5 meters from the site boundary line
