Based on the "Inagi City Ordinance Concerning the Protection of the Natural Environment and the Restoration of Greenery", Inagi City designates valuable trees as preserved trees to conserve greenery.

Criteria for Designating Preserved Trees

  1. Trees must be healthy, aesthetically pleasing, and well-maintained. They must be about 10 meters tall and have a trunk diameter of about 0.5 meters at a height of 1 meter above the ground (with a circumference of about 1.5 meters). meters) or other trees deemed necessary by the Inagi City Natural Environment Conservation Council due to the characteristics of the trees.
  2. Regarding forests, individual forests are healthy, beautiful, and well managed.

Grant of subsidy

Once a tree is designated as a preserved tree, subsidies will be provided based on the "Guidelines for Grants for Protection of the Natural Environment and Restoration of Greenery in Inagi City."
