About the storage system for sewage business accounting eligible invoices (invoice system)

Last updated: September 26, 2023

What is the eligible invoice storage system (invoice system)?

This system has been implemented since October 1, 2019, when the consumption tax became a multiple tax rate of 10% standard tax rate and 8% reduced tax rate.
Since the start of the invoice system on October 1, 2020, in order for buyers to receive purchase tax credits, they are required to save invoices issued by sellers.
The person who can issue an invoice is one who has been registered as a qualified invoice issuing business, and is obligated to issue an invoice in response to a buyer's request. There will be an obligation to preserve electromagnetic records related to invoices.
