Purpose of the amendment

In Inagi City, in the green basic plan formulated in 2012, the goal is ``Inagi, a living city where people can enjoy water and greenery'', and the city aims to preserve and utilize green spaces, develop parks, etc., and promote water and greenery. We have implemented various measures regarding urban development. More than 10 years have passed since the plan was formulated, and as the plan period has expired, the Basic Green Plan will be revised for the next 10 years.
Over the past 10 years, land readjustment projects in the Kamihirao, Odara, and Nanzan Eastern districts and the JR Nambu Line grade-separated intersection project have progressed, and the town's appearance has changed significantly. In society, conservation of biological versatility is emphasized, and the realization of carbon neutrality is advocated to solve the problem of climate change. Measures related to environmental conservation and creation, renewable energy, etc. are comprehensively planned. There is a need to actively promote this. Furthermore, based on the experience of the Great East Japan Earthquake that occurred on March 11, 2011, parks and green spaces that can be used as evacuation areas for citizens are needed in order to improve the disaster prevention function of everyday areas. I am.
