Tokyo Metropolitan Government conducts surveys approximately every five years, incorporating the latest data and new insights that reflect changes in urban areas based on the Tokyo Metropolitan Earthquake Disaster Prevention Ordinance. The latest survey indicates the earthquake-related risks in each region using "building collapse risk," "fire risk," and a "comprehensive risk" that combines these with a disaster activity difficulty coefficient, categorizing the degree of risk into five ranks for relative evaluation.
