From March 16, 2020, the iBus schedule and fares will be revised.

Update date: February 12, 2024

date and time

From the first train on Saturday, March 16, 2020

About timetable revision

The "Standards for Improving Working Hours, etc. of Motor Vehicle Drivers" (hereinafter referred to as the "Improvement Standards Notification") will be revised and enforced on April 1, 2021, with the aim of improving the working environment of drivers. Discussions were held at the Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Conference, etc. regarding the i-Bus service schedule that satisfies the above criteria.
As a result, for some of the current service schedules, the current number of drivers cannot meet the "Improvement Standards Notice," and there is no prospect of securing new drivers to maintain the current service schedule. We have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to move up some of the timetables and reduce (or abolish) some flights, so we will revise the timetables.

(1) Schedule change for C course flight 10 (return) (stops at Hirao Danchi → stops at Wakabadai station)
(2) Abolition of the 4th flight of the D course (3) Abolition of the 4th flight of the E course Note: There will be no timetable changes for the A, B, and C courses (outbound).

Regarding fare revisions

Each route bus operator that operates within the city has decided to increase the number of bus operators operating within the city in 2020, in light of increased operating expenses such as increased personnel costs to secure personnel due to a serious driver shortage and soaring fuel costs due to changes in social conditions. We are implementing fare revisions.
As for the i-Bus, as a result of discussions at the Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Conference and other meetings on appropriate i-Bus fares commensurate with the increase in operating costs, we have found that maintaining a sustainable regional public transportation system that maintains the balance between the current operating costs and fare income. We have come to the conclusion that it is necessary to revise the fares in order to ensure an appropriate burden on the beneficiaries.
