About Local Public Transportation Conference

This meeting is a place to discuss matters necessary for the realization of transportation services that meet the actual situation of the region due to the law to partially revise the Road Transportation Law, etc., which came into effect on October 1, 2006. It is determined as and installed based on the regulations.

In order to secure transportation such as buses necessary for the lives of residents in the area and to discuss ways to improve the convenience of public transportation, the city established the Inagi City Regional Public Transportation Council based on the Road Transportation Law and established a bus public transportation. We will consider revising to improve the convenience of

The members of the Transportation Council are made up of representatives from each district, academic experts, business operators involved in passenger transport, and employees of relevant government agencies.

In addition, in order to deepen the discussion at the meeting, the "Self-Association Representative Study Group" consisting of 10 representatives of each residents' association, and the 13 members of the representatives of the residents' association plus the representatives of 3 civic groups. We have repeatedly held the “Citizen Representatives Joint Study Group” and the “Bus Operator Study Group” consisting of route bus operators, and are proceeding with discussions together with citizens and business operators.
