Basic policy regarding school attendance zones of Inagi City Schools
Updated: November 25, 2024
On October 8, 2024, the "Basic Policy on School Districts for Inagi City Schools" was formulated.
In Inagi City, with the progress of urban infrastructure development projects such as land readjustment projects and development, the educational environment surrounding children is changing, with changes in the townscape and road conditions, and fluctuations in the number of children and students.
In light of this situation, we have established the Inagi City Public School Appropriate School District Review Committee approximately every five years to consider issues such as the nature of school districts.
Approximately six years have passed since the "Basic Policy on School Districts for Inagi City Schools" was formulated in 2017. In order to improve the educational environment, such as changes in the number of children and students due to development in the city and school facilities and school districts, the "Inagi City School Appropriate School Districts Review Committee" was established and has been reviewing the matter from 2023 to 2024.
Based on the "Report on the Results of the Review" submitted by the Review Committee, the Board of Education held an explanatory meeting for families living in areas subject to the change in school districts, and then formulated the "Basic Policy Regarding School Districts for Inagi City Schools."
