Procedures for transferring schools due to moving within the city
Updated: August 1, 2023
If you move within Inagi City and change school districts, you will need to apply for a school transfer.
When transferring to a designated elementary/junior high school
1 In advance, please contact the school you attend, the school affairs office, and the school you plan to attend.
2. Receive a "Certificate of Enrollment" and "Certificate of Salary for Textbooks" from the school you were enrolled in before moving.
3 Receive a “Notice of Transfer” from the Citizens Affairs Division when you apply for moving.
4. Take the “notice of transfer” you received at the Citizens Division to the Academic Affairs Division (City Hall 6th floor) and complete the procedures for transferring to another school.
At that time, specify the school to attend.
5. Please submit a "Certificate of Enrollment" and "Certificate of Salary for Textbooks" to the designated transfer school.
Note: If you completed the procedures for moving at the Hirao Branch Office or Wakabadai Branch Office
- You do not need to go through any procedures at the Academic Affairs Division when you move. After completing the transfer procedure at the branch office, please submit the "Certificate of Enrollment" and "Certificate of Salary for Textbooks" to the designated school.
- If you wish to attend a school other than the designated school, please contact the School Affairs Section (6th floor of City Hall) as soon as possible and come to the counter.
If you wish to continue attending school before moving
Please consult with the Academic Affairs Section (City Hall 6F).
