To all citizens who are using children's day care facilities and children's day care services in order to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
Update date: May 12, 2020
We would like to inform you about the current thinking of Inagi City regarding the implementation and calculation of remuneration for the disabled children's daycare business related to the prevention of the spread of the new coronavirus infection.
In the event that users of children's day care services are absent from the office due to fear of being infected with the new coronavirus, the children's day care support office will provide alternative services such as visits and telephone calls, etc. to provide health management and consultation support for children. This is important because it serves as an appropriate trigger for intervention in situations where it is necessary to prevent family isolation and support. In addition, we believe that it is desirable for the establishment, parents, and children to continue to communicate in order for the child to resume attending school smoothly.
Considering that this kind of alternative support is different from the services provided by regular day care centers, that it comes in various forms, and that it is important for children's development, more efforts should be made to provide continuous support to children and their parents. The City will pay the user's costs for alternative support on behalf of the user. There is no need for parents to apply as the procedures are handled by the business office.
We ask that children's day care support offices provide support tailored to each individual situation, with the understanding of their guardians, so that children and their guardians can remain at home with peace of mind.
Applicable period: From Monday, March 2, 2020 until further notice. (However, child development support will be available from Saturday, March 28, 2020 for the time being.)
