Physically and mentally handicapped (child) medical expense subsidy system
Updated: September 8, 2020
When people with severe mental and physical disabilities receive medical treatment at hospitals and clinics, we will subsidize part of the copayment for insurance paid at the counter.
From January 1, 2019, those who have a Mental Disability Certificate Level 1 will be eligible for the metropolitan government's medical expense subsidy system for mentally and physically disabled persons (Maru-Sho).
In order to receive Marusho, it is necessary to apply to the municipality where you have your resident card.
