Inagi City Elderly Monitoring Network Project

Updated: November 16, 2021

To continue living with peace of mind in a familiar area

Inagi City is working on the ``Senior Watch Network Project,'' which looks after the elderly in the community so that they can continue to live with peace of mind in the areas they are familiar with.
This project asks residents and business operators in the city to report any abnormalities they notice in their daily lives or work to city hall or the Regional Comprehensive Support Center, which will then provide appropriate support such as confirming their safety. Thing.

in particular

In Inagi City, the number of elderly people living alone or households consisting only of elderly people is increasing. People who notice small changes in the elderly living in the community are people who work in stores, financial institutions, businesses in the city, and people who live in the community who have the opportunity to interact with the elderly on a daily basis.

With the cooperation of such people, the ``Elderly Watch Network Project'' is a system to watch over the elderly.

However, it is not a special request. The idea is for elderly people in the community to be closely watched over in their daily work and life, and to contact the city or the Regional Comprehensive Support Center when they notice any changes or abnormalities.

For example, when...

  • Newspapers and mail are piling up
  • Shutters and curtains have remained closed for days
  • Many times people come to me for advice about losing their passbooks.
  • I keep buying the same thing more than I need
  • Appears to be lost, etc.

For private businesses who would like to cooperate,

These are all private businesses operating in the city (stores, financial institutions, businesses working in the city, etc. (excluding nursing care providers)).
