Inagi City home-based elderly monitoring light bulb service
Updated: July 26, 2023
Starting in fiscal year 2022, a three-year trial project will be carried out, in which LED light bulbs equipped with communication functions ("monitoring light bulbs") will be used to monitor residents' homes.
Business Contents
Monitoring light bulbs are installed in home toilets, etc., and the activities of the elderly are detected by checking whether the lights are turned on or off. If there is no activity to turn on or off the lights for 24 hours, a notification will be sent to the pre-set notification recipients, such as family and friends, by email. If the person being notified is unable to visit immediately, the outsourced company's staff will visit upon request.
(Note 1) There is no need for construction work for the communication function or an electrical outlet, and a 26-caliber base light bulb can be installed in a place where it can be installed. You may not be able to use it depending on the communication situation at the installation location.
(Note 2) We do not guarantee the safety of the user's body or life.
(Note 3) Up to 4 people can be registered as notification recipients.
Target audience
People aged 75 or older who live alone in the city. Please note that the maximum number of light bulbs installed is 500 people.
