Starting from the fiscal year 2022, we will implement a monitoring project using sensors ("watching sensors") that can monitor lifestyle rhythms and other factors as a trial project for three years.

Business Activities

A sensor mat with sleep analysis functionality and a sensor that measures temperature and humidity are installed in bedrooms, allowing family members and Business Operators caring for the monitored individuals to check their sleep status and daily rhythms through a dedicated app. Additionally, depending on the smartphone settings, the air conditioning can be remotely controlled to manage the room temperature of the monitored individual's home.
Note: Remote control of the air conditioning may not be available for older or special models.

Eligible Individuals

Individuals living alone or those who are alone during the day and have an address in the city, who have received certification for long-term care needs and support needs.
Note: The maximum number of participants is 27 per month.

Implementation Period

From April 1, 2022, to March 2025
Note: New applications will be accepted until December 2024 (planned).
