[For citizens] Regarding recruitment of nursing care support volunteers

The nursing care support volunteer system is a system in which elderly people perform volunteer activities at nursing care insurance facilities, etc., and are given evaluation points based on their activity performance, and a maximum of 5,000 yen per year is provided to the volunteer upon application.
Target users
Inagi City Long-Term Care Insurance No. 1 insured person (those aged 65 or older who live in the city and pay long-term care insurance premiums to the city)
Activity facility
Accepting institutions designated by the city (nursing care insurance facilities, contact centers, etc.)

Activity content
- Guidance and participation support for recreation, etc.
- Assistance with serving tea, serving meals in the cafeteria, and serving meals
- Operational assistance for cafes, etc.
- Assistance with walks, outings, and movement within the facility
- Assisting with events such as refreshment stands, setting up venues, assisting users in moving, performing arts shows, etc.

- Minor and auxiliary activities performed with facility staff (e.g. mowing grass, sorting laundry, changing sheets, etc.)
- Others (e.g. taking out trash from elderly households, etc.)
System usage flow
(1) Volunteer registration
Register as a volunteer at the Inagi City Social Welfare Council and receive a ``No worries about health notebook (nursing care support volunteer notebook)''.
When starting activities, we recommend that you take out volunteer activity insurance (contribution of 300 yen, self-pay). For details, please contact the Council of Social Welfare.

(2) Volunteer activities
Volunteer activities We receive introductions to facilities and perform nursing care support volunteer activities.
(3) Get a stamp in your notebook
When you have completed your volunteer activity, please display your notebook to the staff at the activity facility and have them stamp it.
Note: The maximum amount is 1 stamp for an hour of activity, and 2 stamps per day.
(4) Granting evaluation points and applying for grants
Submit your previous year's notebook to the Inagi City Social Welfare Council, and depending on the number of stamps you get, you can convert it into evaluation points (around April of the following year). At the same time, you can apply to convert evaluation points into grants.
(5) Transfer of grant money
After confirming non-payment or delinquency of long-term care insurance premiums at City Hall, cash will be transferred to the designated financial institution account through the Inagi City Social Welfare Council around August.
Note: Please note that you will receive a notice regarding the notebook and transfer you received from the Inagi City Social Welfare Council.
