The rabies prevention group vaccination scheduled for Wednesday, April 24, 2024, has been canceled due to rain as of 8:00 a.m.
The next group injection is scheduled to be held on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
At the following veterinary clinics affiliated with the Inagi Branch of the Minamitama Branch of the Tokyo Veterinary Medical Association, you can receive the vaccination at the same price as the group vaccination. (Price = Injection fee 3,200 yen + Vaccination certificate issuance fee 550 yen = Total 3,750 yen)

If your dog has had a rabies vaccination at a veterinary clinic other than those listed above, please receive a rabies vaccination certificate from the veterinary clinic and then obtain a rabies vaccination certificate at the Health Center or Hirao/Wakabadai Branch Office. A rabies vaccination certificate issuance fee of 550 yen will be charged.
When owning a dog, the following procedures are required according to the Rabies Prevention Act.
1 Registration of pet dog (new issue/reissue of license)
Dog owners must register their dogs within 30 days from the date they take possession of the dog.
Additionally, if you own a dog that is less than 90 days old, you must register the dog within 30 days from the day the dog is 90 days old.
Please attach the dog license tag issued at the time of registration to your dog. It serves as proof of registration and also serves as a lost child tag.

About rabies vaccination group in 2020
Inagi City conducts rabies vaccinations in each district of the city every April.
If it starts raining after 8am on the day, the event will be cancelled. If the event is cancelled, it will not be resumed even if the weather improves.

When administering rabies vaccination at a veterinary hospital
Rabies vaccinations can also be administered at veterinary hospitals.
However, the procedure for issuing an injection certificate varies depending on the animal hospital.
If you receive an injection at a veterinary hospital that is affiliated with the Inagi Subcommittee of the Minamitama Branch of the Tokyo Veterinary Medical Association listed below, you will also receive a rabies vaccination certificate and an evacuation health notebook for accompanying animals.

If your pet has had a rabies vaccination at a veterinary clinic other than those listed above, please obtain a rabies vaccination certificate at the Health Center, Hirao Branch Office, or Wakabadai Branch Office.
Please prepare the rabies vaccination certificate issued by your veterinary clinic and the 550 yen vaccination certificate issuing fee.
Precautions for vaccination
- Please keep the dog's body clean and bring a person who can hold the dog firmly.
- Make sure the collar does not come off, and if it is loose, retighten it.
- If the veterinarian at the veterinary hospital admits that the dog cannot be vaccinated due to illness, etc., a "Rabies Vaccination Yuuyo Certificate" will be issued, so please notify the Health Center.
- Check your dog's health on the day of vaccination. Tell your veterinarian before getting a vaccination if you have any of the following conditions:
- I have no energy or appetite.
- I have diarrhea and vomiting.
- You have a cough or trouble breathing.
- I'm pregnant.
- He is currently being treated for an illness and is undergoing hospital visits and taking medication.
- I have had epileptic seizures.
- Previously, I had an abnormality after receiving a vaccination.
- Received a vaccination within the past month.
- I bit someone recently.
- In addition, if something seems abnormal.
