Wakabadai Park
Last updated: April 30, 2024
Located on the west side of Inagi City, it has a multi-purpose plaza (baseball/soccer) and tennis courts, all of which have night game facilities.
On holidays, it is crowded with people who enjoy barbecues in the picnic plaza.
There is a crushed stone storage tank in the basement of the park, which secures a water source of about 3.7 liters per second. There is a pond that uses that water, and it is the uppermost stream of Kamiyado.

Disaster prevention function
Wakabadai Park has been developed as a park equipped with disaster prevention functions, and solar lighting has been installed along the main paths to enable evacuation guidance during power outages. Wakabadai Administration Building is located on the south side, and solar and wind power generation is performed. There are also emergency toilets.
Underneath the tennis courts is the Wakabadai Water Supply Station, a facility of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, which secures approximately 2,000 tons of water and can supply water from here in the event of a disaster.
