Flush toilet remodeling promotion fund subsidy system

The city provides subsidies or special subsidies for construction work that converts sewage toilets and human waste septic tanks in residential buildings into flush toilets within three years from the time the sewerage system is constructed and put into service.
Note 1: This does not apply to new construction or when the building owner is a corporation.
Note 2: There are some areas where you cannot receive subsidies. Please contact us for details.
In order to receive a subsidy or special subsidy, you must apply to a designated sewerage construction company before starting remodeling work .
Subsidy
When remodeling a toilet for collecting water into a flush toilet
・For general housing, 20,000 yen for one toilet. An additional 10,000 yen is added for each additional toilet.For rental houses and apartments, the fee is 10,000 yen for each additional toilet. Add 10,000 yen for each additional device.
When removing the night soil septic tank and switching to direct discharge
・For ordinary residences: 20,000 yen for one human waste septic tank. An additional 10,000 yen is added for each additional septic tank.In the case of rental houses and apartment buildings, the fee is 10,000 yen for each human waste septic tank. Add 10,000 yen for each additional unit.
special subsidy
For those receiving livelihood assistance based on the Public Welfare Act, the full cost of remodeling work approved by the mayor will be subsidized.
