Baseball coaching seminar by former Yomiuri Giants players

The first session has already finished, but you can still join from the second session (Monday, January 13th (national holiday)).

A former Yomiuri Giants player will be hosting a seminar titled "Baseball coaching methods that are easy to understand using the Giants method!"

Former Yomiuri Giants players and Giants Academy coaches will provide practical instruction.
Each coach will conduct a total of three sessions covering basic drills in pitching, defense, base running, and batting.

Why not take this valuable course, not only if you are a regular coach for a baseball team, but also if you want to improve your own baseball skills?

Date: Sunday, December 22, 2024, 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Speaker: Tetsuya Matsumoto (Yomiuri Giants former player/first-team outfield defense and baserunning coach)

Content

The participants learned how to teach stealing and outfield defense at each base from coach Tetsuya Matsumoto, Giants Academy coaches, and Yomiuri Giants women's team players. Participants asked questions based on the circumstances of their respective teams, and the coaches answered them carefully.

2nd time

Date: Saturday, February 22, 2025, 9:00 am to 11:00 am Speaker: Takayuki Shimizu (Yomiuri Giants OB)

Yomiuri Giants Stadium (10 minutes walk from Keio Yomiuri Land Station)
Note: Practical training will be conducted at the indoor training facility where Yomiuri Giants players usually play and practice. Note: Please note that this will not be at the new farm stadium.

• There is no parking lot, so please use the nearby "HANA-BIYORI" multi-story car park (paid) or public transport.
• The meeting point will be at the general entrance to Yomiuri Giants Stadium .
