It was developed as a beautiful waterfront city, taking advantage of the natural surroundings and making ingenious use of the waterside. It is a quiet residential area without a bustling downtown area.
The wetlands have been effectively utilized, and the lakes and waterways have been improved and maintained, and houses along the lagoons have docks, and some homes even have their own personal Duffy boats. Shopping facilities also have docks for small boats, making this a suburban new town that coexists with the waterside.
The waterway is separated from San Francisco Bay, and environmental conservation measures are in place, such as discharging sewage onto the seabed 1.5 kilometers from the coastline.
Old buildings are being redeveloped and transformed into new towns. The city is also passionate about sports and education, and the city's parks include many baseball and soccer fields.
The city is so safe that it has been selected as one of the top eight in the United States, and with a racial composition of 45% Asians, it has a positive image of Japan, making it a place where everyone from children to adults can interact with peace of mind.
