Featuring mechanical designer Kunio Okawara and voice actor Koichi Yamadera! ! "Minamitama station square town opening ceremony" was held!

About the “Minamitama Ekimae Town Opening Ceremony”

In commemoration of the development of the area around Minamitama Station on the JR Nambu Line, the "Minamitama Ekimae Town Opening Ceremony" was held. At the ceremony, the Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower and the Yatter One Monument were unveiled, and a talk event was held with Mr. Kunio Okawara, who designed Yatter One, and Mr. Koichi Yamadera, who was in charge of the voice.

Unveiling of “Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower” and “Yatterwan Monument”

In front of Minamitama Station, there is the Inagi Nashinosuke Clock Tower (approximately 1.7 meters high), which was built with donations from local companies and organizations, and the monument to Yatterwan, who appears in the anime Yatterman (approximately 2.0 meters high). meter) was installed and unveiled at the town opening ceremony in front of Minamitama Station.

In the second part of the ceremony, Mr. Kunio Okawara, who designed the main character "Yatter One" of the animation "Yatterman", and Mr. Koichi Yamadera, who was in charge of the voice, will be invited as guests to talk about the charm of the work, such as secret stories at the time of production. was held. Kunio Okawara
Born in 1947, from Tokyo. Lives in Inagi City. Graduated from Tokyo Zokei University.
Joined Tatsunoko Production Co., Ltd. (now Tatsunoko Production Co., Ltd.) in 1972.
After "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman", he specialized in mecha design.
Free since 1978.
Currently, in addition to animation work, he is energetically active both in Japan and overseas, receiving offers for car design and figure design from overseas.
Received the Distinguished Service Award at the 2013 Agency for Cultural Affairs Media Arts Festival.
Representative works include "Science Ninja Team Gatchaman", "Time Bokan Series Yatterman", "Mobile Suit Gundam", "Armored Trooper Votoms", "Brave Exkaiser", "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED", "Time Bokan 24", and many others.

Koichi Yamadera
Born in 1961, from Miyagi prefecture.
Debuted as a voice actor in 1985.
He is also known as the voice of Cheese in the anime "Anpanman", Donald Duck in Disney works, Genie in "Aladdin", and Ryoji Kaji in "Neon Genesis Evangelion".
In foreign films, he has dubbed many actors such as Jim Carrey, Brad Pitt, and Eddie Murphy.
For 18 and a half years, he served as the MC for the children's variety show "Oha Suta", gaining popularity as the morning face of children.
