Efforts toward commercialization with Tokyo University of Technology (Tamakonekushon)

The Inagi City Tourism Division collaborated with the Inagi City Tourism Association (hereinafter referred to as the "Tourism Association") to cooperate with the 2022 Tama Area Micro Tourism Project (nickname: Tamarism), Tokyo University of Technology Faculty of Computer Science (Teacher in charge: Associate Professor Shigeru Hosono) and from 2023 onwards, we will make efforts toward commercialization.
As a trigger for this initiative, at the "Draft Conference" held at Tokyo Tama Mirai Messe (Tokyo Metropolitan Tama Industrial Exchange Center) on Saturday, December 17, 2020, our section and the Tourism Association I was interested in the project of the team "Tamakonekushon", which consists of four second-year computer science students, and I voted to work on commercialization (practical use) in the future.
In the future, we plan to widely publicize the app, such as holding an app experience session at the Inagi City tourist information center “Inagi Sendai Base Pair Terrace”.

Tamakonexion is made up of four second-year students from the Department of Computer Science at Tokyo University of Technology (Yuki Yasuno (leader), Yudai Abe, General Yokoi, and Sung Bin Kim), and is a group that connects people with the charms of the Tama region. This is a team that operates under the guiding principle of "="Tamakonexion." Every day, I study technology development using ICT, such as programming, and work to revitalize the local town by fusing ICT with the charms of the Tama region.
　

This time, Tamakonekushon has developed an app that aims to rediscover the charm of the local area and sustainably revitalize the area. This app can be used easily by simply logging in to the website, and by posting and sharing photos of scenery, specialty products, shops and gourmet food found during walks, the charm of the area can be shared. It is something you can feel.
